Coxinha without Flour


  • 500 grams shredded chicken breast
  • 200 grams light cream cheese or ricotta cream
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • Salt to taste
  • To taste Black pepper
  • Chopped parsley to taste
  • Chopped onion to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup (tea) breadcrumbs or linseed flour for breading

Method of preparation:

  1. Sauté the onion and garlic.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir in the shredded chicken, tomatoes and seasonings.
  3. Add the cream cheese and mix.
  4. Divide the dough into equal balls and shape the drumsticks.
  5. Roll in wholemeal breadcrumbs and bake for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven or 15 minutes in the electric fryer.


You can bread it with almond flour or flaxseed too, but changing the ingredient will change the original recipe and calories. It is necessary to test and adapt its quantity.
